Delayed for the Better!

Envisioning what consumers require from a product or service is the most challenging task. No matter how hard we try, the vision we have does not always overlap with your requirements. This is where ‘customer feedback’ plays an important role; creating synergy between our vision and your requirement.

Ever since we announced the launch of manageMe 7, we have received thousands of emails from our existing as well as prospective customers. It has been a mixed bag really; some of the mails being critical while others have applauded us for our efforts to develop an enhanced version of manageMe. I have literally been ‘on my toes’ trying to respond to all these mails (attendance is thin due to Christmas), and communicating your feedback to our design and development team.

The suggestions ranged from incorporating ‘edit’ functionality in real time currency conversion to providing access to manageMe via mobile phones. The design and development team is of the opinion that we should incorporate most of the suggestions, if not all, in the current version of manageMe. I was a bit wary in the beginning as this meant a complete rework of the schedule and pushing forward the launch date (5th of January, 2009). On the other hand, it made more sense to give you an application that has features that ‘you require’ and not ‘what we think’ you require.

A lot of deliberation ensued and it was unanimously decided to incorporate your suggestions in the forthcoming version; instead of waiting for the next release which could be more than a couple of months away.

We are open to your suggestions and recommendations till the 5th of January 2009 and anything received after that would be considered for the next release. All your requirements would then undergo feasibility study and will be implemented by our design and development team thereafter. We anticipate that this could delay the launch by a couple of weeks; however we will only be able to give you a definite date at a later stage.

For those of you who are eager to use our enhanced money management application, we tender our apology and assure you that we will not keep you waiting for long. And believe you me; the final application would be worth the wait!

We are running late to give you what you want.
