A Person who wears a Shoe knows exactly where it’s pinching…

It was 8:00AM in the morning.
“Wake up you lazy fellow…” My dad shouted at me and said, “Idiot you are getting late for your lawn tennis match.”With eyes half opened I said, “Just a moment Dad. But as soon as I saw the clock, I was shocked as it was 8:05 AM and today I was having the finals of lawn tennis match at 10:00AM.

Soon I jumped out of the bed and went for the morning chore activities.By the way, now I was not a regular lawn tennis player. I was playing the charity matches. At my school level I was a lawn tennis champion and have brought many accolades to the school.

Like every other kid, I too had dreams.Dreams to reach the acme in lawn tennis and defeat Andre Agassi in the finals of Wimbledon. I was even practicing a lot at that time. Also I was very popular among gals-Thanks to my Lawn tennis championship tag.At college level, my playing ability polished manifolds and I won many awards.

But soon all the dreams were shattered as there was money crunch at my house. Since my dad is the only earning member in my house, it became a bit difficult to survive in the present condition when the prices of commodities are skyrocketing. So all my dreams  ended up at a call center where I have to take the calls and say, “How may I assist you Sir”?

Anyhow, I was ready by 9:00AM and jumped into the car as my dad was waiting for me for the last 20 minutes. With a weird look, he started the car and said, “When will you grow up and manage yourself!?” He was going on and on with his usual lectures…

Again I was thinking that how I will manage the finances of my house, as my father was getting retired next month, money was needed and…

Soon we reached the stadium and my father was still staring at me with anger. Then I went to the stadium where a small crowd has arrived. The match started and I served the first shot.It was like a child’s play and I won the First set.The second set started and with the time passing, the match was becoming more interesting. Crowd loved the aces!

There was excitement all over the place. But the same thought was still hurting me. Money was needed desperately for my sister’s marriage after two months, house was to be renovated, and repairs were to be done. I was petrified but still thinking…

Suddenly the ball hit me in the face, I lost the set and to my dismay it was the third set.
My father was shouting at me- “You idiot! What the hell you are doing? Have you gone mad?”

After taking a five minutes brake, the match started again and it was my last chance to be in the game.Without any delay I played with full determination and won the first two games. But still the question was hovering around me, “How I am going to bring money?”

Everything was going out of my reach. It was not like that I was getting low income, but was clueless as to where the money was going!?I was cursing myself very badly and thinking what to do next?Should I be taking loans? And this time I had struck the right chord.Everything was getting clear in my mind and with excitement I said to myself, “I have won!”

And I came back to my senses and realized that everyone was leaving. My opponent was dancing like anything. The reality was I had lost the game and to make it worst, here come my Dad, again with his usual scolding stuff. But I was happy as I found a solution to manage my finances!

Wait a minute, here comes a trouble again, and this time I am responsible for this. How I am going to remember the due dates of my EMI’s? Who will remind me about them? If I miss a particular payment,How much more I would have to pay…?
